Before introducing "The Docket," could you please make sure the University Library location is well stocked with food, snacks, and beverages throughout the week, please? Thank you very much.

A Frustrated and Hungry Law Student wrote
I am somewhat confused and concerned about both the content of the September 25th posting by Ms. Blanton and the number of exclamation points contained she has placed therein. I fear that an individual who has not been exposed to "The Docket" may get the impression that by adding new items to the menu, the menu has been improved. Yes, there are new items. Many of the items available in years past, however, have been eliminated from the menu. The only way one would be "surprised by the variety" would be at the lack thereof. Yes, grinders, quesedillas, and burritos have been added, but many other items have been eliminated. Do not misinterpret, the food is good, what little there is of it. The change that has occurred is greatly to the detriment of the facility and not at all worth of exclamation.

Hungry and Cranky after 4:30 pm wrote
There have been many lamentable changes to the law school cafeteria this year, but for the sake of brevity I will focus on my top four: 1. the hot food line needs to stay open at least until 6 pm to accommodate the night students - good job discriminating against those trying to juggle a job with school! 2. BRING BACK THE TOASTER (and the bagels that go with it!) 3. Variety is the spice of life! Does it really cost that much to have a second soup option? 4. What happened to all the small, moderately more healthy snack items like granola bars? That said, there are a few (ok two) points worthy of praise: 1. Liz, Jo, and Ed are wonderful and improve even the most stressful day; 2. The quesadillas are pretty good. Oh yeah, and READ the comment cards and ACT on them!
